Fine if it is just for storage, not so fine if I spend a good part of the day there. The current insulation is about 4-5 cm's of that itchy glasswool stuff, and will be replace by 10 cm of the new stuff, making it up to code with what a newly built house would have right now. The Dormer is prebuilt with insulation meeting the same specs.

Yes, I'll lose a bit of volume from the lower ceiling, but it will all be sealed and stuccoed (?) for a much nicer appearance. All my tools etc that are spread around the house will go into the attic, and a gaming table isn't that high on the priority list as I'm not sure where to fit is. A foldobale one or 2 would be nice so I have the space to work with my foam cutter. We will see, when the room is built I have a better idea of what can fit and what not. I guess.... When I moved here 9 years ago there was plenty of space. Nowadays, the bigger parkinglors here are jampacked but our little cul de sac is fine 9 out of 10 times, but with 3 of our neighbours having 2 cars (and a van) per family, it is filling up fast. Luckily we have a tiny car that fits in my back pocket.....Gunbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00901545363558114083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2754746529923019195.post-42335717282153276272019-12-13T09:36:47.466+01:002019-12-13T09:36:47.466+01:00Very Cool!
