The centre section is shelter for the days the weather sucks and is made from card laminated with a sheet of paper rubber banded to my 25mm shell till it set to get that nice curve. The outside colums are just there to hold a few signs and posters of our beloved General Admiral Aladeen, long may he rule.<br /><br />As always, funny how I spend good cash on models and then just use scrap stuff all the time, but ey....that's me I guess. </p><p>13 days to go get em finished and table ready. <br /></p>Gunbirdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00901545363558114083noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2754746529923019195.post-60156060535593968762024-03-13T10:10:00.000+01:002024-03-13T10:10:17.188+01:00Rocket Pod Technical WIP<p> Cobbled together a Technical using the 1:100 Revell Rocketpod (B-8V20A 20 shot launcher) and some spare bits of plastic and the Battlefront American militia truck. But I do have these:</p><ol style="text-align: left;"><li><i>I'm not buying new models in 2024. I have more than enough for several lifetimes, and with my hands not getting along (and to add insult to that injury, my right eye will no longer focus or turn properly so I'm seeing double most of the time). I can sell models, I can trade models, but I can't buy new stuff. </i></li><li><i>Keep the goddamn room clean - Work, clean, and keep it that way till the next time. Yes, eczema sucks, but so does having skin dust all over, wvereywhere. Especially in your paint or varnish.....</i></li><li><i> Do more reviews. I have a lot of stuff still needing to be built, and in the past people enjoyed reading them.</i></li><li><i>Just have fun. I don't have a endgoal hobby wise.....so just have fun.</i></li></ol><p><i> </i></p><p>And that's it. If I have stuff to sell I'll list it here first, just in case. </p><p><i> </i><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><i>Have a nice year y'all</i><br /></p>Gunbirdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00901545363558114083noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2754746529923019195.post-82338250164420149952023-12-13T15:13:00.001+01:002023-12-13T15:13:36.205+01:00Race to the drain cancelled. <p> I've had a little setback hands and brainwise so nothing new to show.</p><p>I have however a little bit of news. Not bad or good, not sad or happy news. I've been declared 100% unfit for work or arbeidsongeschikt as we call it here. It took me 7 years of fighting to finally accept that this isn't going to work (ha, pun!) anymore.</p><p>In my last report the Doc cleared me for 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week of light office work, but the Jobcoach (Arbeidsdeskundige) not only fully disagreed with thatc onclusion, he went against it in full force as the Doc was being very vague and overly optimistic that I would be fully healthy again soon. A few detailing bits to add like a shrine or a ladder and then it is time to hit the primer for everything and start making a muck mix for the top, as well as coil all the barbed wire. And then it is creature time, I'm already working on a few testers to see if I like the look etc. </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJoEKXMk6rDm7p6DwOZieInGDcbEZA2AJ3G9D_2X0muQa2J38X6LoztW7GufMBZ-76pIw7dTvUMMzNi52DeuYG4FryqLOMScOnaK-3l-rN3ObfDpQpF57wE8ymNxlE_V-KY1dbm-82SQlmN0MnwfHfBBaefPydISzcPZ-59DFILD4xPiw2SvRgGohaqgLu/s4080/IMG_20231028_110546806.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4080" data-original-width="1836" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJoEKXMk6rDm7p6DwOZieInGDcbEZA2AJ3G9D_2X0muQa2J38X6LoztW7GufMBZ-76pIw7dTvUMMzNi52DeuYG4FryqLOMScOnaK-3l-rN3ObfDpQpF57wE8ymNxlE_V-KY1dbm-82SQlmN0MnwfHfBBaefPydISzcPZ-59DFILD4xPiw2SvRgGohaqgLu/w288-h640/IMG_20231028_110546806.jpg" width="288" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Gunbirdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00901545363558114083noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2754746529923019195.post-75176698710116656932023-10-17T22:53:00.001+02:002023-10-17T22:53:17.316+02:00The Last War - scenery WIP 1<p> I literally dropped one of my entries on the floor thanks to my brilliant hands and I gave up on them all. Seeing my hard work shatter in many pieces.....yeah. <br /><br />So, I grabbed a sheet of free styrofoam and cut it into smaller bits and made 2 test pieces for The Last War. <br />Those came out really good, but 5cm was too tall so I recut everything I had made down to 4 cm. </p><p>And that's how I have been spending my evenings. They are big, durable when dropped.<br /><br />I'm doing them as tinned sheet and wood trenches. Everything completely in wood really nackered my wrists so that was out. I'll be adding details to some, but not all. I only need enough for a 2x2 area, but making more than enough to cover a 4x4 table for Killteam as well (might as well, right?)<br /></p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8YCOe3H2uRbTMV6gqsvng1csrR8_JpfS4AiNNO3RVr-7Ax6grY2qfd5QZ45WfI2z0Gq6tl3UDS0pSQXZ_io3RBksMpOaKtZPvOCm8fX8rQiqDSlgdPOHmhT7Q9qYcWNyeRKYSJFNWM0CYqCNzMvjxwZPkYrgR0vlGL-pUOmHPvnjAK9aYa2k4xc-32UwG/s1920/393655100_3054377881359481_2390403357575253332_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="926" data-original-width="1920" height="154" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8YCOe3H2uRbTMV6gqsvng1csrR8_JpfS4AiNNO3RVr-7Ax6grY2qfd5QZ45WfI2z0Gq6tl3UDS0pSQXZ_io3RBksMpOaKtZPvOCm8fX8rQiqDSlgdPOHmhT7Q9qYcWNyeRKYSJFNWM0CYqCNzMvjxwZPkYrgR0vlGL-pUOmHPvnjAK9aYa2k4xc-32UwG/s320/393655100_3054377881359481_2390403357575253332_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaFB6RAQ6BDAy6i8Z4XK6m8pYcWunogmowR3h6fMEzB2ct99BqFfTmW87PDcEJ_ItK6QVbEbuvf4QpPsF4WyPSdJ9KqP2VGGnkQ_7Tkni0IoKOcr1M1saxPUXyXFcT0rLY9d-UPIgQmyy0ehyNajSyUWM9ogpa-GDwTbgMFh4ydBTmQMMf9w18putAxsI_/s1920/387339602_638786675125883_5764881869184226374_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="926" data-original-width="1920" height="154" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaFB6RAQ6BDAy6i8Z4XK6m8pYcWunogmowR3h6fMEzB2ct99BqFfTmW87PDcEJ_ItK6QVbEbuvf4QpPsF4WyPSdJ9KqP2VGGnkQ_7Tkni0IoKOcr1M1saxPUXyXFcT0rLY9d-UPIgQmyy0ehyNajSyUWM9ogpa-GDwTbgMFh4ydBTmQMMf9w18putAxsI_/s320/387339602_638786675125883_5764881869184226374_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmFB8S_Uf0kSF2K5Ol5SOpAXz-pE6P4Xm1E-tfG7bSRA-uA1c28gjKm0Dp1pxqab0oCMzqpSa9vTrhnFVO0Vh9rH4kWBY2m0VW7E9_iiCK9j_m4s4T2O60L9fpjNiqY4_vJLuXZc5icVcCuwuz11vwDs2-8sC8eERwcqix8NM0losWQx_i8RScQ3Zhj9K_/s1920/370294826_664766422296409_4927274743737956832_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="926" data-original-width="1920" height="154" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmFB8S_Uf0kSF2K5Ol5SOpAXz-pE6P4Xm1E-tfG7bSRA-uA1c28gjKm0Dp1pxqab0oCMzqpSa9vTrhnFVO0Vh9rH4kWBY2m0VW7E9_iiCK9j_m4s4T2O60L9fpjNiqY4_vJLuXZc5icVcCuwuz11vwDs2-8sC8eERwcqix8NM0losWQx_i8RScQ3Zhj9K_/s320/370294826_664766422296409_4927274743737956832_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz-tm457-PJxThV4mKRK1Re-DvxKLBag8oqS22cQaeNllgjlm4JoAYb0sbPVNVIAuwOVJ4n2XdnlR3Tgvncpj_7_zCm59CcAk0jyI_Mac2_e44h6Lw1n5t8ucZee-XOnntYL5CTY360s1s6TflGKuobcpxL201ooLoHmJ29Xeb64Y4zWCKdXTsbbLXgebQ/s1920/368418587_628396532706611_168570279524048931_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1920" data-original-width="926" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz-tm457-PJxThV4mKRK1Re-DvxKLBag8oqS22cQaeNllgjlm4JoAYb0sbPVNVIAuwOVJ4n2XdnlR3Tgvncpj_7_zCm59CcAk0jyI_Mac2_e44h6Lw1n5t8ucZee-XOnntYL5CTY360s1s6TflGKuobcpxL201ooLoHmJ29Xeb64Y4zWCKdXTsbbLXgebQ/s320/368418587_628396532706611_168570279524048931_n.jpg" width="154" /></a></div><br /> <br /><p></p>Gunbirdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00901545363558114083noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2754746529923019195.post-4756336860975337252023-09-30T20:39:00.001+02:002023-09-30T20:39:10.916+02:00Goodbye house, thanks for the memories<p> Even if I have not lived here for the last 18 months, it has been a big part of my adult life. Still have enough bits on it for more bases, so I will do that tomorrow and then base up the lot in one go after that. </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfMnurGQi5ZzsBOhuV9QbtO3sKdpnJ4Toq3pVY0oIKRoXd-SQcKW19FZFUuck0I6c3zGjrJ_fAJrf7tqQc30D_Ba6-k1OHa8Qg96TsOwLq8I6K3sc6tLag-QvCV5lpFd1fBrwsfYzGSNnR21Q7-UFtyLaHCqNITEA7Ntq3T3xijp7ZxakhSXChU2Fwhr6m/s2040/358784133_263998696371886_3862545602615885957_n%20(1).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2040" height="482" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfMnurGQi5ZzsBOhuV9QbtO3sKdpnJ4Toq3pVY0oIKRoXd-SQcKW19FZFUuck0I6c3zGjrJ_fAJrf7tqQc30D_Ba6-k1OHa8Qg96TsOwLq8I6K3sc6tLag-QvCV5lpFd1fBrwsfYzGSNnR21Q7-UFtyLaHCqNITEA7Ntq3T3xijp7ZxakhSXChU2Fwhr6m/w640-h482/358784133_263998696371886_3862545602615885957_n%20(1).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEianOuBu-spllLH_Ywg5aUYPjnUXPbOwFUeIVuDWNTTplkxPtrsHOcuRtbdQQjD13FuXV6_7jsZN6wcAPinwv9AZlV0DVSJO_QtFVxHFb_c9mS5hodQ-MWU-PL4YOtEvUWGD8gIfjWfWNwDY12bUbYQVQDkVjspaib7cvF8d7qm_UsIs6iOxGkPo8-QCOUH/s1920/359411693_235390745561176_7193131382867131266_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="926" data-original-width="1920" height="308" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEianOuBu-spllLH_Ywg5aUYPjnUXPbOwFUeIVuDWNTTplkxPtrsHOcuRtbdQQjD13FuXV6_7jsZN6wcAPinwv9AZlV0DVSJO_QtFVxHFb_c9mS5hodQ-MWU-PL4YOtEvUWGD8gIfjWfWNwDY12bUbYQVQDkVjspaib7cvF8d7qm_UsIs6iOxGkPo8-QCOUH/w640-h308/359411693_235390745561176_7193131382867131266_n.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLVLT5ncGgnZiM7sd0p8ZAr8qAhFdic43jnzxXYd9Atmt81vaanQzqHGzh6VDHLsKW57d-VPhhrTUPEhahn9hE5Q71r6B0GH36dFa-rdsZ6JcNqrB7IZf9cDKD3txhCw8ZelCDryd90yXOoUQ7lTQOqfnZvG5EcLMRh6Hw5OZkSjl0nVR84Mt5onE1Z7MH/s2040/363496803_1019355795911759_5291699960594963037_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2040" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLVLT5ncGgnZiM7sd0p8ZAr8qAhFdic43jnzxXYd9Atmt81vaanQzqHGzh6VDHLsKW57d-VPhhrTUPEhahn9hE5Q71r6B0GH36dFa-rdsZ6JcNqrB7IZf9cDKD3txhCw8ZelCDryd90yXOoUQ7lTQOqfnZvG5EcLMRh6Hw5OZkSjl0nVR84Mt5onE1Z7MH/w301-h400/363496803_1019355795911759_5291699960594963037_n.jpg" width="301" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Gunbirdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00901545363558114083noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2754746529923019195.post-50839307043531929792023-07-29T22:30:00.002+02:002023-07-29T22:30:27.326+02:00Warranty has expired - please contact your local Technician<p> Finished a few items from the WIP box. Nah. Walls will be finished when the kids leave for their 2 week holiday, grabbed a base and some of my new black foamboard to try and make a quick and dirty Mordheim ruin....by copying a picture. 2 nights in and it's all off the rails again, but I'm really trying to keep it simple (for me anyways)</p><p>Busted warehouse, no windows, just a loading area, 2 planked sections to give the core of the building extra strength. Will try to stay low on details. Hope to have it prime ready in a few days. Built for strength so wood is planked over foamboard floors. <br /><br />Mordheim, but no reason why not useable for other Fantasy and even Silver Banyonet....I've been eyeing that all of a sudden, thanks to Piers<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpArjPRl3SVhkQu6nOB6ygjXpbLIcuyu6s9Ma2cozIVrzh06HouoW2n62JOjNhweqf-sAjrdP0RppT6SAFW2NKxcB5WdNw2Tf-YXyE-DmNsK-duE-Qpq0V-MJ4Hly6RbgejpdZYOd2fzi8eG0WFIAcsXN8PDZaS7ceathTE0grkgIVvZyP25rG3do9JZR8/s2040/362483099_1385507125395723_148829378680889493_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2040" height="482" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpArjPRl3SVhkQu6nOB6ygjXpbLIcuyu6s9Ma2cozIVrzh06HouoW2n62JOjNhweqf-sAjrdP0RppT6SAFW2NKxcB5WdNw2Tf-YXyE-DmNsK-duE-Qpq0V-MJ4Hly6RbgejpdZYOd2fzi8eG0WFIAcsXN8PDZaS7ceathTE0grkgIVvZyP25rG3do9JZR8/w640-h482/362483099_1385507125395723_148829378680889493_n.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiOGUM4FN-p8uf8Q72C1oJm0vWm9Y1lHQzJU1Z0zOMOCL5imak6bwCv2Rd7QcPKSkVau1f9XHc1u_1MwnJJWhWEP1Zd8Jmv_3LPzTIpm-3eUt2id06lwl8eyUFNAKbUswmfs6Zo9OMAMBR6jUngqtqxN0xWPKbvAt7FgFiAkAr7-n_xCTwnwu26a0vI3xD/s2040/362605257_1262861187697347_4081853289315684609_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2040" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiOGUM4FN-p8uf8Q72C1oJm0vWm9Y1lHQzJU1Z0zOMOCL5imak6bwCv2Rd7QcPKSkVau1f9XHc1u_1MwnJJWhWEP1Zd8Jmv_3LPzTIpm-3eUt2id06lwl8eyUFNAKbUswmfs6Zo9OMAMBR6jUngqtqxN0xWPKbvAt7FgFiAkAr7-n_xCTwnwu26a0vI3xD/w482-h640/362605257_1262861187697347_4081853289315684609_n.jpg" width="482" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Gunbirdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00901545363558114083noreply@blogger.com0
