Read the book yesterday, made a list, found that I had enough aircraft and the correct decals and it just went from there.
Really enjoyed that. Practiced the airbrush on basecoating and priming these in metal. Nice results. Liked making the F-104's, schould do more of those soon, maybe the German Navy for some Cold War anti shipping actions near Denmark.
Excellent work on the planes, about to start some myself having just tried out and then brought the rules. I've just received some Tumbling Dice MiG-21's, Mirage III's and Skyhawks so hopefully I can try out some Yom Kippur War scenarios soon.

Yom Kippur, another air favorite of mine. Looking forward to your results :)
VerwijderenGreat work there Gunbird.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenCheers,
Pete.
Thx Pete, I had a very enjoyable evening :)
VerwijderenThey look cute! Love the Starfighter: I remember it was one of my first plastic kits as a kid.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYours too? :D I have a few more for my 20mm Dutch, but since I'm downscaling to 3mm for that there will be more. Now to just find a way to get those roundels done....
VerwijderenThose all really came out well. Very impressed.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI hope they do well on the battlefield besides looking nice ;D
VerwijderenThose look so good! I don't have any Starfighters...yet. I did some MiG 23's yesterday which didn't work out too well, but at least I got most of my WW2 USN & IJN to the varnishing stage. Oh, and some Fleet Air Arm F4s and Bucaneers too.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou are quite busy too I see! What went wrong with the MiGs?
VerwijderenThe green was too dark and the brown not quite dark enough in retrospect. Plus the came pattern looked a bit too symmetrical. I will strip them and try again.
