Hey, it is not much, but I'm happy with it :)
4 Frostgrave treasuremarkers ready for gloss varnish. From 1 tot 4, all customs, 1. Pile of gold, 2. Medallion, 3. Statue and 4. Piece of Troll dung (that's my story and I'm sticking to it...since they ain't picky eaters you are bound to find magical rings and money in it :D )
Now I hope I don't muck up the varnish bit.
Great to see you painting again Johan.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDid you use your new Game Air metallics for the golds? They seem quite fine in terms of the metallic flake - how do they compare to other brands?
From one "Spectrum" bloke to another - Keep up the good work :-)
Cheers,
John.
Hi John, it took me a minute to realise I actually picked up the "wrong"golds - I have boiught Game Air instead of Model Air. None the less, all the gold you see is Glorious Gold 756, I tried highlighting with 757 Bright Gold but no matter how hard I shook, all I got was medium from the bottle, not paint. Paint is much less thinner then my old golds and metallics (I'm still using the black flip tops from the late 90's) so these are much easier to work with. I can reccomend them just from this first trial. Thx mate :)
VerwijderenNice work! Once you get back into it out should go quickly. It's like riding a bike, you never forget how to, and once you get back in the saddle you're off 😉
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt feels good to be painting again :)
VerwijderenThe man is back!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI really hope this man can still remembers to properly mix his matte varnish, or else.....
