You only Brick twice

Weekend, sick kids, cramped hands.....but we carry on.

2 ruined supportss are now ready, all the sand should have set by now, might add another thinned coat of Mod Podge, water and detergent tonight for extra extra security and strength. Might have the time to basecoat them tomorrow evening, or just let it dry for another 12 hours.

Another one for the 50 cent challenge. 25 cents at the Goodwill for a hardwood, carved, slightly busted and garishly painted Buddah. I'll save the poor chap, and he gets the same treatment as the ruins. More 28mm scaled but will work as a really large one for 20mm.

Base is pretty much done, basecoat, 2 highlights. Matte varnish next, then tufts and dust and they are ready for whatever :)

  1. I'll admire your tenacity on getting this project finished. However I fai to see how the Buddha fits in, unless you're going to cover your walls with jungle foil?
It's a nice save of an otherwise mediocre statue though. Excellent work so far!

    1. You will see when it is done. I prefer to keep a lot of stuff generic so you can use it for a lot of genres....and drop in a few very specific things to tie it all together.

  2. This is looking great, I'm following with anticipation. It reminds me I must make some more terrain myself.
