I want to keep my mats as close to my gaming table as setup as keeping them in the attic where it gets hot as well as really cold ain't the best place I think.
I modified a Ikea Billy cabinet by not assembling the centre section in the designated location but a bit higher so rolled up 4 feet mats can stand upright in their carry cases, and I keep using the shipping crad containers as well as I put a big sticker on it with what mat it contains. I drilled extra screws in the sides to make sure the newly located middle section stays and it is all done. This way I can fit round 10-11 mats of various sizes with ease. On the floors above (that I need to sort) I'll put down my folded fleece mats.
