A journey of a man trying to fight his Ooh! Shiney! addiction while painting interesting things at the same time....
Awesome. Excellent research.
Thx, it was great to make this tiny build work. Hopefully the paintjob will do it justice.
I guess that towed BMP turret operates under the same philosophy as WWII towed anti-tank guns, mainly that it has a tiny profile, and is hard to hit. (although a BMP is already pretty low)
Yup, think so. Can't say they covered it up very well in the picture, but hey....
Fantastic work mate. I particularly love the VBIED. Ive got a similar conversion sitting on my workbench currently. Still trying to get my sandbags to look as neat as yours!
Thx Ben. Don't make them look too neat! All work is done with a wet toothpick and a wet scalpelblade and a Mark 1 wet finger....think I have done over a 100 of them now on various builds, if not more....
Very nice work Johan.Cheers,Pete.
Thank you Pete :)
Fid you bother to plate over one of the rear doors of the BMP? was reading a blog post on SVBIED BMPs and apparently that was a common modification?Cheers,Pete.
Of course Pete ☺
Excellent job! You've become quite the master when it comes to scratchbuilding.
I'm loving it 😁
